Timber

Kundan International Private Limited is one of the largest importers of timber in India. We bring into India, the best quality of imported timber from prime timber locations of the world including Ghana, Columbia, Ecuador and Sudan. Providing superior qulaity of timber, we specialise in proper handling of timber throughout its journey, making our timber known for excellent quality durability and longevity.

Varieties of Timber

We deal in a wide range of timber. The majority includes Teak wood, Gmelina wood and Hard wood. Timber could be imported in following forms:

  • Round Logs - These logs are rough and an unprocessed form of timber. Rudimentary in nature, these logs are brought to our esteemed customer base directly from the source.
  • Rough Square Blocks - Round logs bristly pealed to a square shape become rough square blocks. As the name suggests, these are semi- processed timber forms, aptly used.
  • Sawn Timber - Sawn timber is cut from logs into different shapes and sizes. Common sawn timber products include solid timber beams and more rectangular timber sections. These cross sections are usually available in "industry standard sizes".

All the above mentioned ranks are provided by us, undertaking superior quality control measurements, which are applied at all stages of the acquirement and finishing processes. These ranks are available in Teak wood, Gmelina wood and Hard wood. We offer short length and long length timber in each category.

Quality

Our teak wood is a popular choice of tropical hard wood because it is known for its durability and water resistance, with an average girth ranging from 1.0 to 5.0. The Gmelina wood is reasonably strong for its weight, with a girth ranging from 2.0 to 15. Our range of Gmelina wood timber is steady and is resistant to decay and termites. With a 20+ girth, our Hard wood is tolerant to light frosts and is durable throughout long dry seasons.
